The Liberal Media missed this one!!

Subject: Denzel Washington, and

Brooks Army Medical Center

Don't know whether you heard about this but Denzel Washington and his family visited the troops at Brook Army Medical Center, in San Antonio, Texas (BAMC) the other day. This is where soldiers who have been evacuated from Germany come to be hospitalized in the United States, especially burn victims. There are some buildings there called Fisher Houses. The Fisher House is a Hotel where soldiers' families can stay, for little or no charge, while their soldier is staying in the Hospital. BAMC has quite a few of these houses on base, but as you can imagine, they are almost filled most of the time.

While Denzel Washington was visiting BAMC, they gave him a tour of one of the Fisher Houses. He asked how much one of them would cost to build. He took his check book out and wrote a check for the full amount right there on the spot. The soldiers overseas were amazed to hear this story and want to get the word out to the American public, because it warmed their hearts to hear it.

The question I have is why does:

Alec Baldwin, Madonna, Sean Penn and other Hollywood types make front page news with their anti-everything America trash and Denzel Washington's Patriotism doesn't even make page 3 in the Metro section of any newspaper except the Local newspaper in San

Because Dnezel's actions don't fit in line with the larger fishwraps' anti-American agenda as well as the kooks from Hollyweird do.

Washington's a solid guy. Good family man, good father. Truly a man among children in Hollywood.

I like Denzel. I've seen a picture of him taken last year, I believe, pinning a purple heart on a wounded Marine still in recovery at a military hospital. Nice post. :)

This is such a great story. Is there no link to a news outlet at all? Even local?

You can look for a news link, but only the paper in San Antonio had anything - - I received this info from a friend by e-mail - - it's a great story

This is interesting. Hardly a word of it is true, however. Why do so many Republikooks all want so badly to believe that Denzel is a war-mongering nut job like themselves? There isn't a shred of evidence (in the real world) to support that claim. He doesn't talk about his politics, ever. His professional associations, however, (Spike Lee, for example; or his work in Manchurian Candidate - which most took as an implicit critique of the administration) would speak to the contrary. This blog is a favorite stop for myth busters all over the web. These claims are so easy to disprove and they are equally outrageous. The readers here should try a little research of their own. Check any of the claims found here. Odds are you will find them to be false. Or don't. Facts are such confounding things.

Can't stand it when someone doesn't act like you liberals think they should, like the majority of you do. Spreading hate propaganda about America because you and your Communist friends haven't been able to come in take over and everyone roll over and play dead for you. Maybe he's not a conservative but he's not a total lib either. And if you want to use the movies he's been in as an example of how he really feels about people, God and country. I have an old saying my Grandmother use to say "Don't put your eggs in his basket" ! He has to feed and clothe is family and apparently do even more for the human race than you'd be willing to do. Which says to me that there just might be some hope for Hollywood yet. That's so funny a lib talking about facts. Facts are based on the truth of which is totally alien to libs, after all you've run every platform on total fabrications of the truth. Look at the one you all follow the lying channel MSNBC. They should be charged with falsifying all news report's they should work for the Star instead.
