Earthquakes North and South

In Utah a cave-in brought on by seismic activity in the mountain killed a rescue worker and injured eight others who were trying to tunnel through rubble to reach the six trapped miners trapped in the collapsed min.

It was an unexpected setback during the 11th day of the search for the miners who have been lost in the collapsed mine.

In Peru an 8.0 magnitude earthquake has killed at least 450 people. 1,500 people have been reported injured.
