HR 1388: Obama Brownshirts, err, uh, Youth Brigade, will be Forbidden to Attend Church

The Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act, aka The GIVE Act, will require anyone receiving school loans, and others that are targeted by the rapidly expanding federal government, to serve a minimum of three months as part of the Obama Youth Brigade. Barack Obama's goal? One million youths! And on top of this, while being indoctrinated by governmental instruction and service, the participants will be forbidden from "engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship . . . engaging in any form of religious proselytization."

In other words, to be a part of Obama's one million strong Hitler-Youth-like organization, you not only will be forbidden from going to church, but will be forbidden from even speaking a single word regarding your faith.

This, from a man that ran his presidential campaign proclaiming that he was a Christian.

Alinsky, Stalin, Lenin, and Marx must be proud of him.

The first part of the first amendment in the U.S. Constitution reads: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

Freedom of Religion was the primary motivation for the colonists coming to the New World. In relation to the fear of government establishing a religion, that was in response to England's Church of England. However, before our eyes, we are watching the incremental criminalization of Christianity with HR 1913, and the GIVE Act - and the establishment of the religion of secular humanism.
