U.S. Government Like the Mob in the Casino Industry

Gaming expert, and screenwriter for the 1990' Chuck Norris family film "Sidekicks," Lou Illar joins Political Pistachio Radio tonight to discuss his latest book, "Believe Me Or Your Lying Eyes, a History of Casinos, Corruption, and Charities in America."

Mr. Illar says that the U.S. Government has taken the place of the mob in the casino industry.

Tonight we will discuss how the government has inserted itself into the casino industry, the Hollywood connection to the gambling industry, Lou's connections as screenwriter in Chuck Norris' film "Sidekicks," Norris' own secret gambling connections, earmarked casino perks attached to President Obama's stimulus package, and the implied threat of litigation by one extremely powerful gambling mogul in what appears to be a battle among gambling entities for control over President Obama's ear.
