Republican Candidate Ousted From GOP Booth in Illinois

At the Lake County Fair it is tradition that all Republican candidates are welcome to present their information and make contact with the voters. Even primary challengers to Republican incumbents have historically been welcomed there.

This year that tradition is no more.

Originally, the Lake County GOP central committee said that all candidates were welcome. Only a week before the event that was the case.

Then, suddenly, the rule changed.

Why?

Is the incumbent, Sandy Cole, unwilling to share the booth with a more conservative Republican? And if so, why?

Tonight, my guest is Republican State Representative Candidate Paul Mitchell, one of those candidates barred from the Lake County GOP Booth.
