9/11 Suspects To Plead Not Guilty

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Welcome to New York, New York, where soon we will see the circus that will be the biggest embarrassment for the Obama Administration. Yes, I know they embarrass themselves daily with their stupidity, but the decision to try Khalid Sheikh Muhammed, and his partners in terror, in civilian federal court may be the worst decision in the history of this country.

Surprise, surprise, the lawyers of the suspects are indicating they will plead "Not Guilty."

As expected by conservatives like me, this is only the first step towards dismissal of the cases, and a manipulation of American Politics and the Judiciary of the likes we have never seen before.

Legal challenges will be followed by a search for a liberal judge willing to dismiss the cases due to the fact that the defendants were not read their Miranda Rights, did not receive a speedy trial, and that the defendants cannot receive a fair trial since an unbiased jury cannot be found.

Then what will Obama and gang do?

Holder says they would not let the defendants go. But how to you hold prisoners who's cases were dismissed?

We should have tried these people as enemy combatants (and according to the Geneva Convention they could be considered spies) in a Military Tribunal, found them guilty, sentenced them to death, and then put bullets in their brains to be done with it. The fact that the military and government dragged their heels is partly at fault for the fiasco that now looms on the horizon.

The fiasco of the federal court case in New York City regarding the 9/11 suspects will be the final straw that destroys the Obama Administration, and the viability of the Democrat Party for years to come.
