In the wake of Helen Thomas' anti-Semitic remarks over the Flotilla incident, the agency that represents Helen Thomas dropped her, and shortly after she retired.
Folks are acting as if they were the silly remarks of an old woman, but all she did was vocalize what most leftists think. Israel is an enemy to statism because they possess the only other free society based on a republican system like ours, and because they are a common enemy to Islam.
When the truth comes out, leftists are forced out of the picture. This is why the liberal left keeps what they really think to themselves, usually.
