Illegal Aliens, Get Out, and Take Your Anchor Babies With You

By Douglas V. Gibbs

A crime is a crime. Entering the United States without inspection is a crime. Therefore, illegal aliens are criminals. Illegal aliens are not Americans, and are not legal residents, therefore, they do not have a right to Constitutional protections.

This nation was in fact founded by men of many nations, and they found it on the principle that every man is created equal. Therefore, every immigrant can equally follow the same set of laws and immigration procedures. If you are created equal, you can follow the same rules as everyone else, equally.

The immigration topic is not about race, it is about the law. Illegal aliens broke the law to be here, and should be deported for their crime of breaking our immigration laws. Not enforcing the law encourages the activity of jumping the border to continue, and increase. The way to stop it is to enforce the law. Future law breaking should be discouraged by stricter laws, and by our willingness to enforce them. If we allow this illegal activity to continue, we will be erasing the border of the United States, and the very sovereignty of the nation will be at risk.

The illegal aliens do not deserve equal access to hospitals, housing, restaurants, hotels, retail stores, schools, colleges, or public assistance because they are not supposed to be here in the first place. They broke the law to be here. And if they have an anchor baby, that kid is not a citizen of the United States based on the original intent of the law, and can be sent back across the border with their parents (see one of the links below regarding Rand Paul, and is position on the 14th Amendment).

If a legal resident, such as an Israeli Ambassador at Israel's Embassy, had a child here in the United States, would we immediately assume that child is an American? If a military family has a child in Germany, is that kid a German? The answer to both is a resounding "No!"

Today we are facing a worldwide struggle against the Islamic Jihad, and if illegal aliens from Mexico, and other countries to the south, are able to freely come into this nation, so are members of the enemy Islamic Jihad.

The liberal left, upon reading this post, will cry and whine and blubber, "But what about those poor people in Mexico? There lives are so horrible. Shouldn't we promote and protect their rights by letting them in and giving to them from our generosity?"

No.

If their country sucks, it is nobody's fault but their own. They allowed the corruption, and tyranny, into their country, and it is up to those people to turn it around; rather than coming hear to recreate in America what they are trying to flee they should fix the mess they created in Mexico.

They cannot help Mexico by destroying America from within, and we should not allow them to do it. The law is the law, and the U.S. Code, and the Immigration and Naturalization Act, states that crossing the border without inspection is a crime. Therefore, these criminals should be treated as such - criminals.

And it doesn't help their cause when they begin throwing rocks at the border patrol at the border.

Could you imagine if in Los Angeles the folks began throwing rocks at the LAPD? It would not be tolerated.

At the border, the episode resulted in shots being fired, and a fifteen year old illegal alien was shot and killed. I am saddened by his death, but the facts are clear: if he had not been breaking the law by trying to enter this nation illegally, and if he was not having a complete disregard for the law by throwing rocks at our immigration officials, he would be alive today.

These people are lawless, and are breaking the law. I don't care what color they are, or where they are from. It could be an illegal from England, for all I care. Fact is, the law is the law, and criminals are breaking the law. The law breakers are also assaulting our law enforcement personnel, and as a result they may get shot, and may die.

Even the Mexican Military is participating in the lawlessness.

The fault of the shooting lies with the illegals, not with the officers enforcing the law.
