Temecula's Battle Against Mosque Gaining National Attention

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Diane, the woman that is also the main volunteer in my campaign for Murrieta City Council, has been behind a number of protests against the mosque that is planned to be built in Temecula. There has been some fears over the negative press she's been getting (as if we'd expect the liberal media to give favorable press regarding a conservative). In addition to Diane's group, who are engaging in protests against the Muslim invasion of the Temecula Valley, there is another group that is using petitions to stop the mosque. The petition group is trying to stop the mosque using against it its violations of noise ordinances, parking restrictions, and the problems the mosque may cause regarding traffic.

I support both groups. Both tactics are necessary, and I congratulate them for their efforts.

In addition to my appreciation, Tea Party groups in other states have also given their support, including as far away as South Carolina.

As for the press, Diane has been contacted by various national news outlets, and the BBC.

As a candidate, though I support their efforts, and I recognize the danger of allowing the political ideology of Islam to put up a symbol of conquest in Temecula, I have remained independent by not attending the events.
