Canadian Government Tracks Down Critical Media

By Douglas V. Gibbs

When you give government too much power, it becomes tyrannical.

In the United States of America, in our U.S. Constitution, the all important 1st Amendment protects our freedom of speech, press, and the right for the people to peaceably assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The same is not true in Canada. Liberalism has killed their freedoms in that country.

The restrictions on free speech in Canada is especially noticeable when it comes to the media. There is not a team conservative talk radio shows in that country. Such political opinion is against the law.

Citizens cannot even call into American talk radio shows, for if they are exposed as being critical against the government, they can be arrested.

Canadians who are calling into American radio to lodge complaints about their liberal/socialist system of government are getting calls from their elected officials, or their deputies, who are chastising them for their comments.

That would mean that this site would be shut down if I was Canadian, and I could be arrested for my opinion. And you Bush haters? Back then you would have been toast too. Tyranny does not discriminate. It seeks to control and silence everyone. . . except those that are loyal to the party.

So, liberals, be careful what you ask for.
