Israel Vulnerable As Madness Spreads

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Muammar Gaddafi, the leader of Libya, has called for the uprisings in a number of Muslim countries to continue into Palestine, and for the Palestinians to revolt against Israel.

Protests have erupted in a number of Muslim nations, and the fears that radical extremist Islamist governments are going to replace otherwise moderate systems are rising - as is the danger against Israel.

Said Gaddafi on state television: "This is a time of popular revolutions."

He also said: "All Arab states which have relations with Israel are cowardly regimes."

Gaddafi also issued a call to Muslim countries to join forces against Western powers.

Liberals went nuts when the Rehnquist court put some tiny limits on commerce clause jurisprudence. An old adage of statutory interpretation - that no part of a statute cen mean either everything or nothing - is equally applicable to the constitution.
