Liberalism Fails Wherever It Is Tried. . . Including on the Radio

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Liberalism doesn't work. The evidence is all around us, from the collapse of Europe under liberal-style political systems, to the current American liberal's dismantling of America. Our schools are failing thanks to the injection of liberal thought, our economy is failing thanks to their idiotic insertion of Keynesian economic philosophies, and our status as the shining city on the hill is in question do to their weak principles of appeasement and re-distribution.

People don't want to hear the rantings of liberals, either. It's too negative, anti-American, and unable to attract new listeners. Anti-capitalistic talk can't seem to survive in a capitalistic society.

So is the conclusion of a radio station in El Paso, Texas, who is changing its format from liberal talk, to a more conservative way of conversation.

"Liberal talk doesn't work. Period."

That's what the general manager of El Paso, Texas, station KHRO declared.

"They finally pulled the plug, and are bringing in Laura Ingraham, Dennis Miller and Dave Ramsey. The only markets where liberal talk clings to hope is large university towns with a reputation for far left politics."

In other words, in places where the local population has been thoroughly indoctrinated with leftist propaganda and is too far gone to think for themselves.

The liberals, to save their little engine that couldn't, were even willing to work for free to help save money. The local talkers took no pay, yet the station failed as a liberal talk vehicle.

Volunteerism is all well and good, but rarely works if the volunteers have no "skin in the game" (as President Obama liked to say.)

Progressive leftist liberal nutcases keep believing they can somehow operate in an anti-capitalistic manner outside the basic rules of capitalism (not to mention the realities of human nature) – then wonder why their projects continue to crumble.

Once again, KHRO's failure is just another example of how liberalism fails wherever it is tried. Yet, in the face of failure, I am sure the liberal lefties have come up with all kinds of excuses to explain the failure of the station away - none of them, I'd be willing to bet, have any basis in the world of reality.
