Wisconsin Democrats Monkey With State Supreme Court

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The liberal left can't win in the arena of ideas, or on the battlefield of debate. Therefore, they lean heavily on the courts. It doesn't matter if they lose the vote, lose the argument, and reveal the authoritarianism they represent. If they can get a judge to side with them, even if it is only one, they believe they can alter everything because in their opinion, judges represent the rule of law.

When you leave the law open for the interpretive whims of a bunch of activist judges, that is not the rule of law. That, my friends, is the rule of man - exactly what the Founding Fathers were trying to protect us from when they wrote the Constitution, and set up the judicial branch as the weakest of the three branches of government.

Wisconsin is no exception.

The State Senate Democrats abandoned the state and refused to vote, hiding out in Illinois until they idiocy finally reached epic proportions. The Republicans found a way to pas the bill anyway.

The Democrats used a lower court judge to put a temporary restraining order on the new law, claiming the GOP had not followed the rules - despite the fact that no rules were broken.

Now the case over the union collective bargaining law is on its way to the State Supreme Court, and the liberal left is up against the wall. The Wisconsin State Supreme Court has a 5-4 majority against leftist authoritarianism, so the leftists, in desperation, located what they believed to be the weakest link on the bench, and as they do so well, launched personal attacks hoping to get the judge removed from the bench, and possibly move things in their favor.

The judge they have set their fangs into is Justice David Prosser. To remove him would put liberal JoAnne Kloppenburg (an assistant state attorney general) into the seat, assuring a liberal majority that would uphold the corrupt decision by lower court Judge Sumi.

The attacks include exploiting a victim of sexual abuse.

Of course Kloppenburg is in the mix, refusing to take down an ad that the victim himself calls, “offensive, inaccurate, and out of context.”

Disgusted with the Left misrepresenting the traumatic and painful experience he went through, the victim, Troy Merryfield, has gone to the airwaves to reveal the truth.

Dirty Politics. . . The Left may surprise us regarding how far they are willing to go to circumvent the law, and the will of the people, but it is never surprising that they are willing to go to surprising lengths.
