Aftershocks Continue to Rock Japan

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Earthquakes continue to rattle Japan. This morning northeastern Japan was rocked by a 6.5 magnitude earthquake that is believed to be an aftershock. Seven people were injured, but no tsunami warning was issued.

The epicenter of this quake was off the coast, abouts 35 miles (57 kilometers) below the sea surface.

There was no further damage to the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power complex.
