TSA Sensitivity Training

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Transportation Security Administration managers at Los Angeles International Airport will undergo mandatory sensitivity training as part of settlement terms in a lawsuit filed by a transgender former employee.

Mixed feelings on this one - Are TSA employees capable of sensitivity? And can we trust the government to show anyone how to be sensitive? And when they do, won't it just go to the extreme like everything else and become a politically correct mess? How long before the government decides it is capable of teaching everyone to be more "sensitive?"

TSA is an unconstitutional department, anyway. Should be a State function. If we were just to follow the Constitution, the federal problem would go away, and it would be determined on a State by State basis.
