When the news came over the local news radio channel, the reporter explained the horror of the shooting, and then added at the end of the report that the suspect has a "Support the Troops" bumper sticker.
No mourning for the victims, just an attempt to try to pin it on one of them crazy "rightwingers."
Never mind the fact that four of the five victims were guardsmen that had served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Six others were injured in the shooting.
This follows shootings in New York, Chicago, and on the BART Plaza in San Francisco.
I realize that shootings are nothing new, and perhaps there is an increase, perhaps not. . . but it strikes me as interesting that reports of violence seems to be on the rise. I wonder, could it be because of the entitlement mentality we have stopped being problem solvers, and just expect government to make everything okay, or else we get angry and start destroying things, and lives?
