Old Tactic in Use Again - Opposing Obama Means You Are A Racist

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Recently, there was a row over Obama's Jobs Speech, and when and where he should utter his teleprompter list of lies and false understandings. Originally, Obama, since he thinks his word is final and there is nothing anyone can do about it, chose to deliver his speech during the GOP presidential debate on the 7th. However, since that speech is supposed to be before a joint session of Congress, Boehner balked at the idea. Constitutionally, that was the appropriate response, because Obama's team did not follow proper protocol of working with the Congressional leaders before making a determination of when the speech would be.

In other words, the Congress does not belong to the President, so he can't dictate to them when he will speak before a joint session of Congress.

However, MSNBC, blinded by idiocy, has decided that the GOP Speaker of the House rejected Obama's offer because he's racist.

That's right! According to MSNBC Political Analyst Richard Wolffe, racism is the real reason House Speaker John Boehner asked President Obama to delay his jobs speech.

"It strikes me that it could be the economic times, it could be that he won so big in 2008, or it could be, let's face it, the color of his skin." Wolffe told Lawrence O'Donnell on Wednesday.

Even hard left liberal democrat strategist James Carville says the White House was in the wrong when it requested that the President address Congress on the same night and time as a Republican presidential debate.

“Given a choice between watching a debate and the speech I would have watched the debate and I’m not even a Republican or even close to being a Republican,” Carville said, adding it will be a “barn burner.”

In a letter to the White House, Speaker Boehner explained that before a joint session of Congress could occur, a Concurrent Resolution had to be approved by both the House and the Senate, and the House would not be in session until the 7th - the day Obama requested.

"With the significant amount of time - typically more than three hours - that is required to allow for a security sweep of the House Chamber before receiving a President, it is my recommendation that your address be held on the following evening, when we can ensure there will be no parliamentary or logistical impediments that might detract from your remarks," Speaker Boehner wrote.

Nope, the hard-left idiots at MSNBC, well knowing that the only way to win is to paint the enemy as being something horrible (like "racist"), pulled out the race card, and decided despite all of the evidence to the contrary, those GOP people rejected the President's request because they are a bunch of racists.

I thought we were over that mindless bull crap?

Oh, wait, it's election season - the democrats are getting desperate. . . because they know that their 2012 election chances are beginning to look really slim.

I always wondered, though. . . since the democrats are always quick to pull out the race card, wouldn't that mean that race is on their mind pretty much all the time? And if that is the case, if they are always judging situations as they apply to race, does that not make MSNBC, and the rest of the race-baiting Left, the true racists?
