Occupy Wall Street Has No Solutions

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Listening to the various interviews with members of the Occupy Now movement, I hear a lot of "the bankers suck," and "corporations are greedy and corrupt," and "capitalism is the reason for our problems."

Sounds like the Bolsheviks and the hardliners of the Soviet Union, doesn't it?

So, Occupy Now Protesters, what is your alternative?

The protesters seem to have a lot of complaints, but they verbalize no solutions.

The reason for their lack of solutions is that they are trying to be careful not to spill the beans on the truth. The democrats are embracing these fools, and this is a typical Marxist strategy of bringing down the system without necessarily a solution in place. The democrat politicians are just hoping they can use all of this for a political advantage.

This anti-capitalist rhetoric is what we get for over a century of progressive liberal influence in our system of government. This is the result of liberalism, and what it really is is evidence of the Marxism within.

Expanding government as the liberals are trying to do eventually leads to tyranny, eventually leads to socialism, and eventually leads to the loss of freedom.

The occupy movement is very dangerous. I just hope they don't gain much more traction than this.
