Iran: Explosion at Nuclear Facility

An explosion has rocked Iran, in the city of Isfahan, home to the country's key nuclear facility. Israeli TV is reporting that 2 explosions have been heard.

The semi-official Fars news agency reported that the blast has been heard around the city.

Only two weeks ago a similar incident occurred when military personnel were transporting munitions the Revolutionary Guard said.

Haaretz reports that Iran operates a uranium conversion plant near Isfahan, 'one with an important function in the chain of Iran's nuclear program'.

Israel's channel 10 reporting that a 2nd explosion in Iran took place in a Shahab-4 Ballistic missile facility in Isfahan.

Deputy Isfahan governor Esmaili confirmed a huge explosion was heard in the city, but Esmaili also rejects FARS report to IRNA.
