Cheney: Obama an Unmitigated Disaster

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Dick Cheney underwent a heart transplant surgery a few weeks ago. He came out of it well, and ready to leap right back into the political arena, at least as far as political dialogue goes. He gave his praise to Romney, who looks to be in position to finish off the republican nomination, and then went straight after Obama, calling the President an "unmitigated disaster."

Cheney's words about Obama were voiced at the Wyoming Republican Party state convention in Cheyenne during a fifteen minute conversation he had with daughter Liz Cheney.

"He has been an unmitigated disaster to the country," Cheney said of Obama.

When asked about his recovery from heart surgery, "I'm not running any foot races yet but it won't be long," he said. The heart came from an unknown donor, and his wait for one was made possible by an artificial heart.

He made no comment about Chuck Kruger's call for his execution.
