Hookers and the Secret Service

By Douglas V. Gibbs

It almost sounds like a joke - Okay, so a dozen secret service men and a bunch of hookers walk into a bar in Columbia .  .  .

What happened, according to the stories coming in, is that Obama went to the Summit of the Americas in Cartegena, Columbia, but before he actually arrived, while waiting for the President's arrival, a dozen Secret Service agents hooked up with a bunch of hookers, and as a result the agents were relieved of duty as a result of their misconduct.

The details are not being released yet, but among those 12 agents busted for playing with prostitutes, a number of them are married, as well.

The Associated Press indicates that the incident is threatening to embarrass Obama. . . as if Obama is not capable of doing that for himself on a daily basis.

The agents were replaced by other agency personnel, and the agents in trouble were sent back to their permanent place of duty. The next step will be an investigation handled by the agency's internal affairs.
