Same Old, Same Old

by JASmius

I debated whether to even bother putting up a post on this. How many times do we have to cover and comment on the same tiresome garbage that incessantly spews from the maw of the Chicago Cherubim? How many times do we have to sit through the same wearying lies, the same propaganda nonsense that has failed and failed and failed, and the same blind guide [ahem] "faith" that if we squander "invest" just a few hundred borrowed billion more, and if we sodomize the job creators for just a few trillion more...

...and if we dole out just a few hundred thousand more Brinks trucks' worth to a few more start-up "green energy" companies (no joke), why, everything will magically come up rainbow Skittles!

I suppose, if you squinted hard enough to detach your (left) retina at just the right angle, you could kinda sorta grudgingly acknowledge the sheer doggedness with which Barack Obama refuses to learn a single, solitary, blessed thing from all his miserable failures. To everybody else, though, he just comes of as a brain-dead moron:

President Barack Obama defended his economic policies during an impromptu appearance Wednesday at a White House summit of key advisers and editors of influential online news sites.

“First of all, I think it’s just important to remember that it’s not like we haven’t been doing anything for the last year,” Obama told the summit, which included Newsmax Editorial Director Steve Coz along with editorial executives from Forbes.com, Kiplinger.com,
Yahoo.Finance.com, and The Motley Fool.

That's true, in a sense; the problem is that everything he's done has been wrong. But then, "you have to understand," he considered the economy "fixed" over three years ago when he squandered over eight hundred billion dollars on Hogzilla. Which means he either really equated a massive wealth transfer to his Big Labor political cronies with economic "stimulus," or he never had any intention of genuinely reviving the economy to begin with because his nefarious plans required a prostrate, impoverished, desparate electorate that would be forced to keep him and his ilk in power in perpetuity. I tend it think it's a great deal of both.

The president said the payroll tax cut extension through the end of the year was critical to the country’s economic recovery and the addition of 4 million jobs over the past few years.

“Obviously from my perspective, our ability to get the payroll tax
extended through the end of this year was a gauntlet because it strengthened or at least solidified a recovery,” he added.

Actually, we've lost over two million jobs over the past few years - as in, "couldn't find work and have left the workforce altogether." Which is how his merry band of bullshitters at the Bureau of Labor Statistics can keep cooking up that bogusly descending U3 number. Add back those two-plus million workers His Infernal Majesty has failed and you get an unemployment rate in double-digits, where it's been all along.

Or, to see it depicted it multi-graphically, go here.

As to the payroll tax "cut," it isn't "stimulative" because the employer's half of that tax isn't cut - which might actually encourage hiring - but just the employee's half, which is nothing more than giving money away - and a pittance at that. And even if it was the economic boon he claims it is, the fact that it's only temporary would dissipate it in short order.

You want to stimulate the economy? Cut taxes (AND spending). You want stimulative tax cuts? Reduce the tax (AND regulatory) burden on job-creators. But that would be ideological suicide to an orthodox Marxist like False Messiah; and even if he were willing to "pull a Clinton," his lunatic fringe base would [ahem] "crucify" him for it.

He went on: “There are a number of measures that I’m still going to be pushing for and a lot of it will depend on what happens in the election.

“There’s no doubt, for example, that this country could greatly benefit from a major rebuilding of roads, bridges, ports, high-speed
Internet, high-speed rail.”

Oh, God, more of Slow Joe's choo-choos and other "not-so-shovel-ready" gobbledygook, which the following pic deftly captures:

Try and square that with his fascist demand through O-Care that all employers, religious or otherwise, subsidize their employees' contraception, abortions, and sterilizations. What grandchildren and great grandchildren would be left to be enslaved to the vampiric federal syphon?

It's simply breathtaking that five trillion smackers of debt later, in an economy as depressed as the Donk-sabotaged one he inherited, he's still making the same discredited pitch. One would think that such a purportedly "brilliant" man would have an at least rudimentary capability to learn from his avalanche of mistakes.

But, of course, they're not "mistakes"; they're prima facie evidence of hard-left zealotry. He demands that reality conform to his demented ideology.

And also....it's all he knows. What's that saying? "When a man has a hammer, every problem looks like a nail" - no matter how many other people's fingers he has to bludgeon.

Obama said that the United States has “historically low interest rates” and construction workers “who are dying to get back to work.”

The United States has artificially low interest rates because the Bernake Fed is hyperinflating the dollar in order to monetize Red Barry's gargantuan debt binge and hide the true length, breadth, and depth of the Second Great Depression.

But, yeah, it's not like the Regime has been doing nothing.

Dammit.
