Obama: You probably needed a good teacher

By Douglas V. Gibbs

A couple hecklers were removed from an Obama campaign rally at a North Las Vegas high school.

Obama said of one of the hecklers, “That young man probably needed a good teacher.”

Democrats constantly tell us who they are, but we don't seem to ever hear them. The language is plain as day, yet we deny the reality of it. The liberal leftists that control the democrat party are communitarians, collectivists, the kind of people that believes it takes a village to raise a child, not individuals.

The school system has morphed into an indoctrination system. Basic reading skills, writing skills, and mathematics are no longer taught. The three R's have been replaced with experimental techniques, laced with ideological training.

On Thursday one of the students of my Constitution Class told me that in one of his college classes the teacher told him that the students were allowed to use any reference for their papers they wanted, including television. . . except for Fox News.

My nephew, in his history class, was all excited about the fact that a chapter on the Constitution was in his history book. The teacher skipped that chapter, and when he asked the teacher why, she said, "We only have so much time, so we have to skip over the unimportant chapters."

Without a good teacher, people like Obama believes, you can't be properly indoctrinated with the liberal agenda, and then you grow up to become hecklers that dare speak out against the great Obama.

That is why he said, "That young man probably needed a good teacher." Without a good teacher, figures Obama, the heckler didn't become a good member of the liberal collective.

My definition of a good teacher differs from Obama's. I believe a good teacher teaches reading, writing and arithmetic - not Marxism.
