The Liberal Deception Kicks Up A Notch As Anger and Fear Sinks In

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The liberal democrats are coming apart at the seems. Their guy in the White House has failed, their policies are unpopular, and their power is slipping through their fingers. They have always been liars, and they have always practiced the politics of personal destruction, but they are getting so desperate that the progressive liberal leftist democrats are overreaching to a point where it's just getting ridiculous. Their lies are obvious, and even the liberal media is refusing to defend them anymore on some of it.

California Democratic Party Chair John Burton had a break-down of epic proportions, calling Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan, and the entire Republican Party, a bunch of Nazis. He stated about the GOP, “They lie and they don’t care if people think they lie … Joseph Goebbels – it’s the big lie, you keep repeating it. . . Ryan told a bold-faced lie and he doesn’t care that it was a lie. That was Goebbels, the big lie.”

When he was reminded that California Democrat Governor Jerry Brown once made a similar comment about his 2010 gubernatorial opponent Meg Whitman, Burton doubled down: “[Expletive] that’s right, she won the election! … He won it big. Goddam he was in trouble.”

Burton then called Ryan a “horse’s ass.”

Burton, however, had it wrong. Ryan did not distort any facts, but in fact Ryan’s speech was 100% wholly and completely factual. Facts mean little to the Left, however. It's all about demonization of the Right, and lying to keep up the charade.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who I like to call Mayor Villa-La-Raza (I am a Southern Californian, after all), has decided the Republican Party is the party with the platform of 1812.

He's right - We support the Constitution as did most of the leaders of that time period. States' Rights, limited government, and sane government spending is the platform, not a total disregard for the law (immigration law to be more specific), nor supporting the murder of innocent lives (abortion), pushing the socialist policy of the redistribution of wealth through "soak the rich" taxes (in 1812 they called that failed policy "leveling"), and allowing a tyrannical government to act without limitations through regulatory agencies, executive orders, and czars (all of which are being used unconstitutionally).

Then Villa-La-Raza said, "Reagan would be turning in his grave" to hear some of the proposals coming from party leaders, particularly as it pertains to budget cuts.

Talk about revising history. Reagan famously stated that "government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem." Hardly something that would be said by a man that believed in the big government madness of today's liberal left democrats.

The lies from the liberal left knows no bounds, apparently.

Barack Obama entered attack-mode as well, telling folks at a rally in Urbandale, Iowa, that the agenda set out by nominee Mitt Romney and other speakers in Tampa was "better suited for the last century."

He called the GOP platform ". . . a rerun. We’d seen it before. You might as well have watched it on a black-and-white TV."

In reality, his policies are the rerun, and a repeat of failure at that.  Progressives like Woodrow Wilson tried these policies, and the economy was headed into a massive recession until Presidents Harding and Coolidge turned the table with tax cuts, spending cuts, and a reduction of regulations against businesses. What followed was one of the most prosperous decades in the history of our country known as the Roaring 20s. Herbert Hoover, though a Republican, also used progressive policies, and his policies combined with monetary manipulation by the Federal Reserve, led to the Great Depression. Franklin Delano Roosevelt's socialist policies extended the depression by seven years. Lyndon B. Johnson tried to create a "Great Society" with his social programs, and the result of the war on poverty is that poverty has gotten worse. Carter not only brought our economy to its knees, but gave the gift of Iran to Islamists. And now we have Obama, giving us the rerun of all of those failures in his presidency, and he tries to make the GOP look like some kind of party of antiquity. In reality, the policies of the Republican Party are the policies that made this nation great - a limited government, low taxes and reduced spending, and a thriving free market.

Racism is the attack the Democrats use when they are against the wall, and since Obama is half black, their claim of racism comes pretty easy.  It's gotten to the point, though, that the liberals are beginning to believe their own bull crap. Chris Matthews, liberal TV guy extraordinaire, when he's not getting tingles running up his leg over his love of Obama, gets emotional when he thinks of all the pseudo-racism he sees in the GOP.

Like most liberals, Matthews doesn't realize that it is actually him that is the racist. Think about it. People who dwell on race constantly are about as racist as it gets, and few dwell on race more than the liberal democrats. He's like a paranoid ball of insanity, freaking out because he sees racism everywhere he looks. He's offended and freaked out about everything. Even the word "Chicago" reeks of racism to Matthews - which tells me he's not a political commentator, he's a scared little man ready for a straight jacket.

Electoral cheating by the Left is expected, and the joke is that during elections the dead rise to vote democrat. This is why they are against Voter ID Laws. The democrats need voter fraud to win, and Voter ID Laws would ensure only those that can legally vote will do so. The liberals are willing to cheat in the campaign end of things as well. In fact, recently in Colorado, a public university offered a course crediting students to volunteer on President Obama’s reelection campaign.

The offer, it turned out, though I doubt it was a surprise to them (they were more surprised that they were caught, I am sure), violated the Colorado Fair Campaign Practices Act, section 1-45-117, which bans the use of public resources for “campaigns involving the nomination, retention, or election of any person to any public office.”

It's gotten so bad that even the liberal media is catching the democrats in lies, and is unwilling to cover for them.

One case involved CNN’s Anderson Cooper catching DNC Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz lying about the GOP abortion platform.

But that is all the democrats have - Lies. And the lies are increasing because it is becoming all to apparent to them that Obama is in trouble, and they are willing to do just about anything to hang on to their power.
