Election Day 2012 - Obama received 10 million less votes than in 2008, and Romney received 3 million less votes than McCain did in 2008. Obama won by a significant margin.
The immediate thought was that the Republicans failed in getting out their base. Not enough Republicans had voted. We were being outgunned.
In Ohio Obama won 108% of registered voters in Wood County. The President received over 99% of the vote in districts where GOP inspectors were illegally removed. He won 100% of the vote in 21 districts in Cleveland.
I spoke with my friend Andrea Shea King who visited six states in the Defeat Barack Obama campaign, and the general feeling in Pennsylvania and Michigan was that Romney was going to win these historically blue states. The anger against Obama's failed policies ran high. The coal miners were pledging to vote for Romney. The democrats were losing ground rapidly, until election night.
Something is amiss.
We will talk about it today on Constitution Radio. . . do not miss this episode!!!
