David Gregory Being Investigated Over High-Capacity Gun Clip

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Remember, liberal left democrats don't think the law applies to them.  Nothing sticks, because the media, the political propaganda, the education system, and the entertainment industry plays the game well.  Bill Clinton can get oral satisfaction in the Oval Office, and lie about it under oath, and come out of it smelling like a rose.  Dan Quail can misspell a word, which was misspelled on the card he was given, and it ruined his political career.  Kennedy killed a woman by drowning her in the Chappaquiddick, and assassinated Robert Bork's character through vicious slander, and walked away from both without even a scratch.  All Sarah Palin had to do was run for office, and the attacks were so horrendous that in most circles, as a result of lies and the politics of personal destruction, her name is mud.

David Gregory of NBC News also seems to think he is immune to the law, or any scrutiny.  He displayed a high-capacity gun clip on Sunday's broadcast of "Meet the Press," even after NBC asked if they could and were denied.

In Washington DC, where the show is filmed, the 30-round gun magazine he held up during the program is banned, whether it is attached to a gun, or not.

Gregory was interviewing the National Rifle Association's Wayne LaPierre.

After asking the Executive Vice President of the NRA if banning high capacity magazines could reduce the carnage in a situation like Newtown, LaPierre responded, "I don't think it's what will work.''

Despite the fact that NBC was informed that possession of a high-capacity magazine was not permissible and their request was denied, David Gregory held the clip up high for all to see - in violation of a liberal left gun control law.

Remember, these people think they are above the law.

Washington's municipal code prohibits possession, sale or transfer of "any large capacity ammunition feeding device, regardless of whether the device is attached to a firearm."

The maximum penalty for conviction on such a charge is a $1,000 fine and one year in prison.

And I say throw the sucker in jail.  After all, don't the democrats claim that they believe in equality?  How about equal treatment under the law?  You know, that clause from the 14th Amendment they love to use so much?  Arrest David Gregory, and make him spend a year in jail.

As Obama would say, "It would be the fair thing to do."
