Obamacare Comes Back In Focus After D.C. Ends Stalemate

by JASmius

Better late than  never.....

As I am already arguing at this very moment on American Daily Review, ObamaCare has been such a disaster so quickly that it is too big a story for even the Obamedia to embargo.  They'll try to spin it as best they can, but when public anger over dysfunctionality of program and web portals and sticker-shock and everything has already become a gathering "prairie fire," it's a story that has already gained a life of its own.  In short, too many people already know the truth and are pissed as hell about it, and thus will not be amenable to being told what to think about it.

This is why, in turn, I don't think Shutdowngeddon need have any lasting affects on Republican prospects in 2014.  If we flog the holy hell out of OCare for the next year - fanning the flames, as it were - and learn from recent mistakes and simply get out of the way of Red Barry's brainfart child instead of providing him ready-made excuses for its cosmic failures, I'd lay at least even odds that O will delay the individual mandate himself rather than watch the last bulwark against actually having to work for a living to plug all the holes in his sieve-like policy dike go by the midterm boards.  And think of all the fun that the GOP could have with that.

The opportunities are out there.  Are Pachyderms - and the Tea Party grassroots - canny enough to exploit them?
