Evil Republicans

By Douglas V. Gibbs

When faced with a choice, voters will always choose incompetence before evil.

The liberal left of the Democrat Party understands human nature.  They know they cannot win in the arena of ideas.  Their policies, if people truly knew what the democrats were all about, would never vote them into office.  The very fact they call themselves liberals is because when they called themselves progressives a hundred years ago, after all of their policies were failing, they hijacked the term "liberal" from those that were, what we call today, conservatives, in order to cover their failures.

Leftism is an ideology of anger and hate.  They must spew anger and hate in order to convince voters that they aren't the problem.  They project who they really are onto the Republican Party, and have conditioned generation after generation of uninformed voters that policy does not matter.  Republicans are all evil, so you must vote democrat because that is the only way to keep the evil republicans from doing evil things in office.

Even if the democrat is incompetent, the uninformed voters are convinced, they must still vote democrat, because incompetence is better than evil, and all republicans are evil.  The democrats said so.

The liberal left has infiltrated and control the media, academia, and the entertainment industry, and the angry, hate-filled liberals use those mediums to spew their hatred for republicans in order to convince everyone else to hate the GOP too.

Here is a couple cases in point:

Bill Weir of CNN, someone who has fallen for the false argument of man-made global warming (because a history of an Earth warming and cooling long before man's industrial age, and scientists recognizing that the primary contributor to temperature change on the planet is the sun, is just too easy of an explanation, and doesn't provide for an opportunity for increasing government control), has decided "Climate Change deniers" are a group of people he just can't tolerate.  So, the intolerant tolerant liberal left commentator tweeted in response to a Fox News report about how weather is not cooperating with Gore's climate models and global warming hysteria: "Weather is not climate, you willfully ignorant fucksticks."

Notice the profanity.  That kind of language is the language of the angry.  Trust me, profanity and I have met (I was, after all, a sailor, construction worker, and truck driver), but I pretty much only use it when I am really pissed off.

Weir is angry and hateful, but for Weir that kind of anger and hate is okay. . . because it's against opponents of the liberal left ideology.

Disagreement with liberal left talking points by a republican is a hate crime, but unadulterated rage-filled hate by a liberal is courageous.

As for the IRS scandal, the hardest left hardcore leftists are perfectly fine with the IRS targeting "rightwingers," and IRS emails from Lois Lerner goes right along with the narrative you hear the hard-left folks spouting.

Lois Lerner, the former IRS chief being looked at regarding the "IRS targeted the Tea Party" scandal, was clear on how she feels about the GOP and the Tea Party in her emails, calling conservatives "crazies," and "assholes."

Ahhhhh, that language of the angry, again.

Aren't they just a tolerant group of folks?

In the last presidential election, because of the liberal left's narrative about the evil republicans, voters did not necessarily vote for Obama, but against Romney.

After all, they reasoned, Romney is evil.  Remember?  He put his dog on the top of his car during a trip when he was young. . . and only a person that would be an evil president would do such a thing.

Interestingly, now that issues and policies are starting to get a wee-bit of attention, a lot of voters are coming to the conclusion that perhaps, just maybe, they should have voted for Mitt Romney.
