A few days ago we wrote about a volcano on Iceland that has been teasing the population with the threat of exploding. Earthquakes and smoke has dotted the landscape. At one point the Icelandic officials were so sure that they were on the verge of an event, that they increased their emergency level to red, meaning an event was imminent. They have since lowered the alert level to orange, but have remained concerned, and attentive.
About 500 Earthquakes have shaken Iceland since midnight.
The alert level remains at orange, but anxiety is high.
