Parents Protest Sex Education, Planned Parenthood Uses It to Sell Abortion

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The liberal left Democrat mantra has been, "Life is precious, except when it is an innocent and helpless child in the womb," and "The Democrat Party's moral supremacy is apparent, encouraging people to choose their own morals, have sex and marry whoever they want, regardless of gender, age, or opinion - unless you are a rightwing extremist. . . then you are a homophobe, and sexual prude that must be silenced.  Your children belong to us."

The leftist agenda, when faced with people demanding that the liberal left back off on the issue of sex (and their children), the cowards are usually quick to pull back, regroup, and try to figure out another way to force their mental disorder upon the American public, and our kids.

The protesters in Murrieta, when they stood up against bus loads of contagious illegal aliens, proved how battles against the leftist agenda can be won, as have groups of outraged parents when school district propose and implement a sex education textbook or program with inappropriate references to intercourse, masturbation, sex toys and bondage.

In Northern California, just across the bay from the sexual perversion of San Francisco, the educators of the Fremont Unified School District was faced with a petition containing 600 signatures from outraged parents over the curriculum that parents said was extremely inappropriate for 14-year-old ninth-graders.

Superintendent Jim Morris said in a statement the book “Your Health Today” was being put on hold pending further vetting from parents. Morris also said the book’s publisher, McGraw-Hill, has offered to modify that text to meet student needs and address parental concerns.

This is not the first time inappropriate sex-education tactics have been offered to students.

At the tail-end of last year's school year, in San Marcos, California, near San Diego, parents were outraged after an eight-grader, as a part of a lesson in sex education at Woodland Park Middle School, was asked how far she was willing to go sexually.  The question was posed to every student in the class.

In May of 2014, a story emerged regarding a sex education text book being used in the Francis Howell School District for middle school students in Missouri.  The outrage was over cartoon drawings of sexual acts in the book, and the publishers claim the book is suitable for children as young as 10 years and up.

"Most of the time, when I showed this to parents, their jaws just hit the floor," parent Tim Schmidt said. "They were shocked and then their next reaction was outrage."

"It has a lot of explicit drawings," Schmidt said. "Cartoon images, life-like cartoon images. A look of nudity. It actually shows people having sex."

District officials said, after the outrage by parents, "it was determined to keep the ebook available as a resource for check-out in the library. If a parent determines that he/she does not want their child to have access to certain materials, we honor that request."

In a video regarding the confrontation in Francis Howell, the news report blurs the images that the parents were upset about.

So, in light of the blur-marks over the private parts depicted in the book, I have to ask, "Are they telling us that presenting these images to a child in a room away from the prying eyes of parents with an adult the parents may, or may not, be familiar with is okay, but on television, in a news report that will probably be primarily viewed by adults, these images are inappropriate?"

In Europe, the target age for sex-education is even younger.  In Britain a controversy has arisen over a book designed for six-year olds.  In Germany, the target of explicit sex education books has been five-year-olds.

Democrats in the United States are shooting for the same age, and lower.  Last year Chicago approved sex-education for kindergartners.  Planned Parenthood suggests that sex education should even be taught to pre-schoolers.

In 2004, Illinois State Senate Candidate Barack Obama, in a debate against Alan Keyes, indicated he believed sex education is needed to help children discuss molestation.

According to NBC, surveys claim to show that Americans overwhelmingly want sex education in the public schools, and those that oppose sex education are in the minority.

Currently 18 states and the District of Columbia require schools to provide sex education and 32 do not.

The argument by the liberal left is filled with good-intent, and benevolent aims.  However, the truth turns out to be a lot more insidious than even the outraged parents may realize. In an interview, former Planned Parenthood affiliated abortion facility owner Carol Everett revealed that the material she and others in the abortion industry distributed as "sex education" was designed entirely to encourage abortion – preferably multiple abortions for every teenage girl.

“We have a whole plan that sold abortions, and it was called sex education,” said Everett, who ran four abortion clinics in Texas in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

The sexual material and her “educational” talks were designed to “break down their natural modesty, separate them from their parents and their values, and become the sex expert in their life, so they turned to us.”

She added that after teaching them about genitalia in kindergarten and masturbation a few years later, she would prod young girls to engage in sexual activity by offering them defective “protection.”

“We would give them a low-dose birth control pill [that] they would get pregnant on, or a defective condom, because we didn't buy the most expensive condoms,” she said. “We bought the cheapest condoms.”
