~ Beyond Classes Tonight is the final Constitution Class of 2014 in Temecula. We will be discussing what we have studied to this point, and begin discussion regarding the Civil War Amendments. Last Tuesday Night we conducted the last Corona Constitution Class of the year. We are studying the owner's manual for the greatest political system ever created, but as we are trying to educate ourselves, we are losing the American Form of Government. ~ The Next Steps Today there were protests at the congressional offices of Ken Calvert and Duncan Hunter in response to those representatives voting in favor of the CR-Omnibus Bill. According to one of the demonstrators that contacted me, Calvert's staff states there is no funding in the bill for any of Obama's executive orders, especially any regarding immigration. Have we been misinformed? Or is Calvert's office bending the truth? What about the seemingly never-ending list of pork-funding ear marks that are nothing more than evidence that votes were bought for the bill with personal favors tacked on by an incredible number of representatives? Protesting offices of our representatives is only a start. Where next? Where do we go from here? How do we make a more sizable impact?
~ The Constitution Association January 3rd, a couple members of our group, and myself, will be attending a class to help us in building our activism, and moving us closer to creating the pathway to solutions that include Republic Review, nullification, and maybe even a convention of States. It begins with education, but it ends with action. The Constitution Association is ready to take the next step, to become a force in American Politics, to hold our government accountable, and to make changes as necessary. Our next two meetings are all about taking those steps. January 3, 2015: Fresh from our class, a few members of the Constitution Association will address the group directly following our day in the class on self-governance and activism. Check-in at the Constitution Association meeting will be at 5:00 pm, and the meeting will begin at 5:30. I, and my fellow classmates, should arrive about 5:45 to relay to the group what we have learned, and how we can apply it to our efforts as an organization. The meeting will be conducted at Boston Billies', 26850 Cherry Hills Blvd., Menifee, CA 92586. February 7, 2015: I am working on getting a speaker from a group that has made some incredible strides in influencing local politics, and elections. I have heard him speak before, and in his presentation he will provide for us information on how to do the things we want to do, how to conduct successful canvassing campaigns, and rallies that are impactful. As usual, the meeting will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Boston Billies' in Menifee. March 7, 2015: The Constitution Association will transform, create a working board of leaders, and begin to establish a working plan for the 2016 Election. Action will be considered radical, and if that is the case, the radical battle to restore the republic will begin with the Constitution Association. The rest is up to you. Will you participate and work with us to change America? Will you be one of those people that helps us grow and influence the restoration of the republic? Or will you remain to be among those that believes complaining and yelling at the television is a viable strategy?
