Standing in the Way of Restoring the Republic

"The only thing worse than being blind is having sight, but no vision." -- Helen Keller

"Wherever there is a human being, I see God-given rights inherent in that being, whatever may be the sex or complexion." -- William Lloyd Garrison

On the day after the 42nd Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, a large portion of civilization still believes that killing our children before they even have the chance to take their first breath is somehow not evil, and that a woman's allowance to murder her unborn baby is somehow a "right."

Politicians who say they believe in an America filled with "Americans," still use sexism and racism to achieve their goals, fomenting division in society so that they may then claim that one group, or another, are victims, and the government must come to their rescue.

The weather changes through natural cycles, but we have been convinced that through our negligible actions where less than one percent of the carbon going into the atmosphere is by man's industrial activities, we are somehow responsible for cataclysmic climate patterns, and the politicians from both sides of the aisle are leading the charge suggesting that if we'd just let the government regulate our energy usage, and if we'd all just stop driving SUVs, or start driving hybrids and electric cars, the planet will be saved.  Oh, by the way, Mars and Jupiter has also experienced warming and cooling trends that have been consistent with the temperature changes on Earth.  Either, the Martians and Jovians are driving SUVs, or the warming of the planet might be due to Solar Activity.  Wow!  The Sun may be responsible for warming the planet?  Who'd have thunk it?

Our greatest ally is Israel, yet President Obama won't meet with Netanyahu, and proposed sanctions against Israel for the small country desiring to build apartments on their own land in East Jerusalem.  Our greatest enemy right now is Islamic terrorism, yet our leaders are doing what they can to appease that enemy, as well as separate Islam from the word "terrorism."

Europe, like the United States, is borrowing money to protect their economies that have been damaged by massive debt.  Somehow, borrowing more money is supposed to energize an economy that has been hampered by too much government intervention and too much public debt.

American heroes, if depicted in movies like American Sniper, are being called "cowards" because they fought to protect the freedom of idiots like their detractors who call them cowards.

Gun control advocates scream there is no such thing as a law-abiding gun owner, and demand that law-abiding citizens be stripped of their right to own a firearm, as if the criminal element that is armed will also lay down their weapons and follow the new gun-ban laws.

The President, regardless of the law, has been legislating through Executive Orders and Executive Actions, completely disregarding the concept of Separation of Powers laid out in the United States Constitution. He claims his actions are not unconstitutional. He should know, it's been said, he was a constitutional lawyer, and everyone knows that liberal left lawyers always tell the truth.

Tyrants lie, Terrorists kill.  Despots deceive.

And we have been screaming we need to restore our republic, from the couch, with a drink in our hand, angry that nobody is doing anything.

Think about it.
