Steelers Fan Presumed Guilty before Guilty

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The NFL Playoffs are here, and the stadiums are full of rabid fans cheering their favorite teams on.  Some fans will even discuss the games using first person pronouns such as "we," and "I," as if they were on the field during the gridiron battle.

A Steelers fan, tweeting during the game, indicated he planned to run onto Heinz Field, and after over 6,000 folks retweeted his tweet, the security forces employed by the Pittsburgh Steelers noticed.  It took them less than twenty minutes to find him, escort him to the exit, and eject him from the stadium.

We always figured the thought police would find a way to tap into our brains to arrest us for our thoughts without us necessarily acting upon them.  They do indeed use technology, but apparently they don't have to tap into our brains, because we seem to have decided to open our brains up to social media, instead.  But, how tyrannical is it that people are being accused, and found guilty, without actually performing the deed?  Now, the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Next, the cockroaches in our ever-expanding government tyranny.

Tweet carefully.
