Shredding the Constitution

By Douglas V. Gibbs

At the Farmer's Market, yesterday, a person said to me, "The Constitution needs to be changed.  Replaced.  It's out of date."

"Are you saying liberty goes out of style?" I asked.

He threw his hand up and walked away.

Unfortunately, the idea that the Law of the Land is some old, oppressive document that no longer matters is running rampant through our population.

At colleges the Constitution is being shredded, literally.

Today, at 1:00 pm Pacific on Constitution Radio with Douglas V. Gibbs KMET 1490 AM, we will talk about why the Constitution should not be shredded. . . why the law of the land still matters.

Also, Conservative Voice Radio airs at 8:00 am Pacific.
