Mexican Mafia Raid in Corona, California

The top of this image reads "Operation CVL Gun Shop".
CVL stands for "Corona Varrios Locos," a large gang
in Corona with roots that goes back beyond half a century.

The Mexican Mafia is alive and well in the United States.  We tend to think of them as having a strangle-hold  on the prisons, but not in our towns, and in our neighborhoods.

Last week in Corona, California, however, local police worked with multiple agencies to serve search warrants at several homes in the city as a part of a sweep to try and weaken the Mexican Mafia's grip on the Southern California community.

Fifty-two were arrested, primarily gang-members who show allegiance to the Mexican Mafia.  Sixty-seven firearms were seized, $100,000 in cash, and about $1.6 million in drugs (street value).

If you think the raids in Corona were brutal, wait until the government decides to go after right-wingers for sedition against the government (for daring to oppose the leftist regime).
