European Fears of Islam Escalate

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The rise of terrorism in Europe is directly proportional to the increase of Muslim refugees into the countries.  The higher the importation of Muslim migrants, the higher the number of incidents of terrorism.  Muslims do not assimilate, they do not become more like the host population, and they do not reason in a manner that we are accustomed to.

Muslims commit jihad.

Are there moderates among their ranks?  I suppose there may be, but we don't know because more often than not those people are too afraid to speak up.  They would be considered apostates, and would be killed.

We don't help those possible moderates by encouraging the terrorists among their ranks to join us in our countries, too.  The jihadists lie, so you can't properly vet them, and remove the dangerous element.  Therefore, the most sane move is the exact opposite of what Europe has been doing.  The only sane move is to ban Muslim immigration.  It's not insensitive, it's not racist, it's logical - because you can't tell the good from the bad, and the bad have declared war on The West.

https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/8705/islam-germany-july says:
  • Figures released in July by Destatis, the government's statistics agency, showed that more than 2.1 million people migrated to Germany in 2015.
  • More than 33,000 migrants who are supposed to be deported are still in Germany and are being cared for by German taxpayers. Many of the migrants destroyed their passports and are believed to have lied about their countries of origin to make it impossible for them to be deported. Others have gone into hiding so that immigration police cannot find them.
  • An investigative report by Bavarian Radio BR24 found that deradicalization programs in Germany are failing, because many Salafists do not want to become deradicalized.
  • "My impression is that we all underestimated a year ago what was in store for us with this big refugee and migration movement. Integration is a Herculean task that does not end with a three-week language course." — Jens Spahn, CSU politician.

Muslim women in Germany may soon face restrictions on where they can wear a veil covering their face.

Chancellor Angela Merkel's party, the Christian Democratic Union, is uniting behind a proposal that would ban women from wearing veils that cover their face while at schools and universities and while driving.

Germany's growing public debate over the veil parallels that of neighboring France, which has the highest percentage Muslim population of any country in Europe. In many societies, from Syria (Muslim yet secular) to France, Britain, and Germany, the debate underscores a conflict between civil and religious liberties that secular pluralism is designed to promote and the desire to prevent the wearing of religious symbols that could threaten or undermine those values.

Some Muslim women have argued that they are not forced to wear the burqa or niqab and don’t feel oppressed by it. Other Muslim women have claimed bans, like the one France introduced in 2011, are the right move.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/08/18/angela-merkel-says-germanys-terror-problem-predates-the-refugee-crisis/ says:

Speaking at a campaign event late Wednesday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel pushed back against those who linked recent extremist-inspired terrorist attacks in Europe with refugees who have reached the continent.

"The phenomenon of the Islamist terrorism of ISIS is not a phenomenon that has come to us through refugees but rather one which we've already had here before," Merkel told a crowd in her home state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, using an acronym to refer to the Islamic State extremist group.

It's a bold statement from a leader whose refugee policies have been hit hard by terrorist attacks in recent months.

Two of the attacks — an ax attack near Wuerzburg that wounded five and a suicide bombing in Ansbach that injured 15 — were claimed by the Islamic State.

And in both cases, the attackers were asylum seekers who died in the commission of their crimes.

Note to Merkel: Terrorism predating Isalmic refugees entering your country is not the point.  It has been Muslims following the teachings of the Koran who have been committing terrorism, and you have added more poison to your society by bringing in more.  Of course terrorist activities are on the rise.
