Trump Hustled off stage in Nevada

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Somebody shouted the word "gun" and the Secret Service went into action, herding Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for President of the United States, off stage.  The rally was being held in Nevada Saturday Night.  After being rushed off the stage Mr. Trump returned shortly after.

This reveals to us that there are true dangers for Mr. Trump to run for President, and how foolish the Never Trump Republicans are.  If Trump wasn't true to what he was saying, would he put his life at risk like this?

The Democrats are even more interesting when it comes to Mr. Trump.  I heard Juan Williams on Fox actually say that Trump was an authoritarian.  In business, maybe, but based on his words, he sounds like he plans to follow constitutional protocol and work with Congress.  Hillary Clinton, of the two, is the true authoritarian.

After someone shouted "gun" at the Nevada Trump Rally, a person was apprehended, but no firearm was found.  The person taken into custody was holding a "Republicans Against Trump."  He was released shortly afterward.

The story being told through Fox News is that someone in the crowd saw another attendee reach around his back and toward his waistband. The first person shouted "Gun!" several times, sparking panic right in front of the stage where Trump was speaking.

Two Secret Service agents quickly surrounded Trump before hustling him off the stage. Trump returned moments later and told the crowd," "Nobody said it was going to be easy for us. But we will never be stopped. Never, ever be stopped."
