Putin Preferring Trump in the White House Makes No Sense

President Barack Obama said to past Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that 2012 was his last election, and afterward he would be more flexible.  He then told the Russian to transmit his message to strongman leader Vladimir Putin, and Medvedev agreed to do exactly that.

Hillary Clinton, and the Clintons in general, are not so innocent when it comes to ties to Putin, and Russia, either. In a report put out by the Government Accountability Institute, as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton engaged in dealings with Russia that sacrificed America’s national interest for her own benefit, and Russia's benefit. According to the Executive Summary of the report; 1) A major technology transfer component of the Russian reset overseen by Hillary Clinton substantially enhanced the Russian military’s technological capabilities, according to both the FBI and the U.S. Army; 2) Russian government officials and American corporations participated in the technology transfer project overseen by Hillary Clinton’s State Department that funnelled [sic] tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation.

Then, we might want to add to the Clinton/Putin relationship question, that according to Peter Schweizer's book, "Clinton Cash," Hillary Clinton's infamous Uranium One deal was also another Clinton deal that was detrimental to America’s national interest while benefitting both Hillary, and Putin's Russia.

During the time period that the Uranium One deal was going on, the Clinton Foundation received contributions totaling more than $100 million from Uranium One’s chairman and several of its shareholders in addition to those with ties to Uranium One or UrAsia.  Secretary Clinton also received $500,000 for a speech she gave at Renaissance Capital — a Kremlin-linked investment bank, which had recommended purchasing Uranium One stock soon after the Russians announced their intent to acquire a majority stake in the company.

And that is not taking into account the fact that Russia invaded both the Ukraine, and the Crimea, and downed a passenger liner to boot, without any worry of retribution, all under Obama's presidency, and with Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.  So, with that kind of free reign with Democrats in office, why in the world would he prefer a republican in the White House?  The reality is, Putin would prefer Democrats in office and the idea that he would prefer Trump in for the White House is absolutely asinine.

As for Donald Trump's comments about Putin, of which the media was all up in arms about, it was all, in short, just “Trump being Trump.”

Trump has been accused of being friendly to Russia when it came to his thoughts on whether or not the U.S. would continue to pay the bulk of the bill when it comes to our North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) obligations to defend Baltic nations against Russian aggression.

Granted, it is important to honor our treaties, but questioning the validity of our role in a treaty is not an abandonment.  Besides, like anything, if the agreement has outlived its original intent, there is nothing wrong with reexaminating the language and altering ir as necessary.

That all said, Putin's cozy relationship with the Democrats, and fear of a Republican cowboy, means that if Putin wanted anyone to win the 2016 Election, it wasn't Donald J. Trump.

As the liberal left says that the CIA says the election was hacked, remember, the FBI disagrees with that assessment.  It doesn't agree with DNI testimony, either.  Blaming everyone else but themselves, however, is not surprise.  Leftists always cry "victim."  In Germany, for example, Merkel is blaming her troubles on Putin, as well, rather than the fact that her policies have been destructive and against the desire of the voters.

John Bolton, former Ambassador to the United Nations, says the accusations by Democrats that the Russians was hacking the DNC in order to tilt the election in Trump's favor is a "false flag."

The Democrats are so beside themselves with this loss they are trying to figure out what to do next, and are blaming everything but themselves.  Michelle Obama even says that we are getting ready to enter a time of hopelessness with Trump as President.  The Democrats are so sure their big loss in 2016 is everyone else's fault that they are not only not changing their message or playbook, but they are doubling down on what defeated them.

That said, the truth always finds a way.  Obama can't even get his lies about Russia straight.
