Constitution Radio Needs Your Help

Douglas V. Gibbs, AuthorSpeakerInstructorRadio Host, has been on AM Radio since August of 2011.  After a few years at KCAA, he moved to KMET 1490 AM a couple years ago.  Since then, the program has grown in both listenership, and length.  In addition to co-hosting a Banning-Beaumont-Cherry Valley Tea Party sponsored program on Saturday Mornings (Conservative Voice Radio), ten weeks ago Constitution Radio with Douglas V. Gibbs, which airs every Saturday at 1:00 pm on KMET 1490-AM, added a second hour.  The response from listeners has been fantastic, and the program has been better, for it.

The two advertisers that made the second hour possible, however, have hit some obstacles in their own lives.  While they both believe they will be able to return as sponsors in the coming months, the current contract with KMET ended last Saturday, and the second hour for the next contract remains unpaid.

We don't have to lose that second hour.  If we can raise the funding necessary to keep the second hour by the end of the week, we can keep it.  Political Pistachio receives 3,500 hits per day.  We have more than 1,600 friends on Facebook, and over 11,000 people follow the Constitution Study Facebook Page.  My email list consists of almost 500 people.  Surely, we have enough listeners and followers out there to help fund the second hour. . . and if it is listener sponsored, that will also make it commercial-free.

Our goal by Thursday is $1,300 to fund the second hour into July.  I will keep track on this page.  Please contribute, if you can, on my donation page at http://www.douglasvgibbs.com/donate.php.
