Feinstein has no more ambition, and may even be in her final term. If she passes away in the next six years as a Senator, and John Cox is Governor, he could then appoint a Republican Senator. Also, De Leon is a radical, and is young and ambitious. He wants to use the U.S. Senate as a stepping stone to bigger things. I don't want to give him that stepping stone.

It would be hard for me to vote for Hernandez or Feinstiein especially how she acted in the Kavanaugh hearings. Could you explain your "protest vote"?
