And personally, I don't care what you can drudge up to support your theory as X being an early symbol for Christ (notice Christ is capitalized), that symbolism wasn't used by the true Christian Church, I am sure. Perhaps X was used by the Gnostics, or Pagans, or such, but not by anyone I would consider legitimate. So, though I don't put many restrictions on people on my sites, the X stands as grounds for deletion.

As for the interview - looking at the tail-end of the first week in January (I am having surgery on the 29th of December and will need a week to recuperate - my wife will post my articles for me, I will be writing them from a bed-ridden position). Of course we will need to be in contact in ways other than comments. E-mail me at douglasvgibbs@yahoo.com for the particulars. Put Political Pistachio in the subject line so that I don't think it is junk mail. If you have Yahoo Instant Messenger, that would be the best way, but a list of questions answered by e-mail is more than adequate.Douglas V. Six months ago she wore the head scarf of a pious Muslim woman and dropped her eyes in the presence of men. Not any more! Now she leads troops at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.

Ms. Hamdan wrestled with the decision for two years. Only in the Army, she decided, would she be able to save money to hire a lawyer and finally divorce her husband. She yearned to regain custody of her children and support them on her own. She thought of going to graduate school one day.
