Anti-American Barack Obama is Reading "The Post-American World"
The claim that Barack Obama is anti-American has been floating around quite a bit during this Election journey of 2008. When Michelle Obama proclaimed this is the first time she has been proud to be American, many felt that she was echoing Barack's feelings. When it turned out Obama's pastor, Jeremiah Wright, is an anti-American racist, the blogosphere exploded with posts regarding it. His decision not to wear an American Flag lapel pin, and refusal to place his hand on his heart (and even look at the flag, for that matter) during the singing of the National Anthem concerned Americans who saw that Barack Obama had a real chance to become president of this country. The above picture, however, is the final nail that seals the coffin, when it comes to the belief that Barack Obama's goal is to end the existence of the United States of America, and that he is anti-American.
Barack Obama was photographed on the tarmac by Doug Mills of the New York Times with a book in his left hand titled "The Post-American World." Notice, his finger is near the mid-point, obviously saving his page, telling us that he didn't want to fold the page or stick a bookmark in it because he wished to get back to the book as quickly as possible.
Question: Why would a man that desires to be President of the United States read a book about the demise of America?
Could it be because he is anti-American?
Well, if you'll notice, at least he's wearing his lapel pin.
First off, you're an idiot. I don't know anyone except for very old men who put their hands over their hearts for the anthem. The allegiance, yes. Next up in the idiocy of your post, the book was a #2 New York Times Bestseller about countries other than the US being able to compete in the world market. It is not an anti-American rant, and the writer is an Indian born American. The book is about how America must once again COMPETE in the world marketplace, as opposed to just taking it for granted. Additionally, do you not think it important that a candidate or president read books that pertain to the US and global economy? Would you be more comfortable if it were a Joyce Meyers book? The guy is PAID to understand not only this country, but others, as well. What a backwoods, sister-marrying view you have.
