Whatever Happened to "Bush Stole the Election?"

In the U.S. presidential election of 2000, a contest between George W. Bush, and Al Gore, the election climaxed in a controversy over who won Florida's 25 electoral votes, and thus, the presidency.

After a recount process in Florida, and the unusual event that the losing candidate had received 543,816 more popular votes nationwide than the winner, George W. Bush was declared the winner based on the number of electoral votes he received.

Well, the Democrats declared that Bush stole the election, be it through Florida's recount, or by the fact that Gore had received more votes in the popular vote. There was a cry about how the system needs to be changed, about how if a candidate wins the popular vote, he should be the winner.

How quickly the liberal left forgets.

In the 2008 Democratic Campaign, Hillary Clinton is winning the overall popular vote, but Barack Obama has been knighted as the heir apparent.

Wait a second. . . whatever happened to all that talk in 2000 about how the winner should be the one with the highest popular vote?

Once again, the Democrats prove theirs is a party of contradictions.

As for the experience and intelligence needed to become the next president of the United States of America, before you cast your vote for Obama, consider his gaffes, his liberal positions, and the proof of his idiocy in the photograph above . . . that's right, look at the pic closely. Obama is a little backward, there.
