A Paris bound flight containing 228 people disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean, today. A thunderstorm may have been the cause.
The search continues, but it is feared all lives on board that flight have been lost.
The plane, unfortunately, vanished in an area of the mid-Atlantic ocean not covered by radar, making the search for the aircraft difficult.
If every person aboard the flight turns out to have perished, the disaster will be the worst since 2001, during which 265 people were killed when an American Airlines flight crashed into Queens.
