Shepard Smith, Fox News and Religious Crazies

Battle lines have been drawn by the Liberal Left. If you agree with their leftwing lunacy, than you are automatically a righwing extremist. Since Fox News refuses to be biased, like all of the other far leftwing news agencies, then Fox News must be Rightwing. That said, they also, then, believe that anyone attached to Fox News must be a Conservative sweetheart.

Conservatives recognize Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity as conservative on the news channel, and frankly, these personalities are not necessarily popular with all Conservatives. Honestly, right-leaning Americans simply see Fox News as a news outlet that is not necessarily far left, like the rest . . . though even with Fox, we may still not always get the whole story.

During an interview with Heidi Beirich of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Shepard Smith, a Fox News veteran, had a lot to say about folks that question Barack Obama's eligibility, his religious views, and the overall danger of the Obama presidency.

Shepard Smith: "There are these crazies out there who want to pretend [Obama's] not a citizen of the United States, who want to pretend that his religion is something they see as in some way troublesome to them and all of us. And there is a group perpetuating this thought, and there is a culture to which you can attach yourself very easily through the internet. We know its absolutely - there is no truth whatsoever - zero - to any of those ideas, yet they live within the computer and they fester in people's minds."

Once again, Fox News is watched more by Conservatives than by the loonies on the left. It is the Left, however, that has dubbed Fox News the far rightwing network, despite the presence of self-proclaimed independents like Bill O'Reilly, and moderates like Greta and Shep, on the network. That does not necessarily make it a "Conservative Network," as it is being proclaimed as by Democrats, and their ilk. The actuality is, the other networks are so biased, and lean so far to the left, that anything that does not parrot their radical liberal rantings, in the minds of the Leftists, must then, by default, be a right-wing, conservative news network. Then, since Fox News, according to the Left, is a right-wing, conservative network, everyone working for Fox News must be Conservatives, as well. Anytime anyone that is a part of Fox News gives an opinion different than what the Left perceives should be an opinion of the Right, in the mind of the liberal leftist, it is an example of conservative hypocrisy, and a sign of a crumbling right-wing movement.

In reality, Mr. Smith has every right to his own opinion. His statements, regardless of who they came from, evidences that he has not studied all that has come to light since Obama was elected. Real evidence, and a huge amount of circumstantial evidence, points to the very real possibility that Barack Obama is ineligible to be president, and is doing whatever he can to hide the evidence, and deceive the American People regarding this issue.

If Barack Obama was in fact born in Hawaii, as he states, and is a Natural Born Citizen who does not cling to the Muslim religion, then the signals Barry is providing those who doubt him are hardly convincing of his innocence.

An innocent man does not seal his personal records, and hire lawyers to fight the accusations of eligibility.

Regarding Obama's religion, and I don't necessarily think he is a practicing Muslim, but it is interesting how during the presidential campaign Barack Obama, and his devoted followers, chastised anyone using Barry's middle name, "Hussein," as well as demonizing anyone daring to bring up his Muslim roots and connections. Yet, during Obama's speeches in the Middle East as President of the United States, suddenly he was proud of his Muslim heritage, and proclaimed that not only is the United States not a Christian nation, but that Muslims have been a significant part of the building of this nation. Note that the Muslim population currently is less than 2% of the total U.S. population, and if they have contributed positively to this nation, it is not because they are Muslim, but because of the freedoms this nation afforded them.
