Greg Laurie On "Rationalizing Sin"

We spend our lives trying to rationalize our bad, damaging, destructive behavior. My pastor from Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California had a few words about rationalizing sin, and how to put everything into a better Light.

Now, take that and apply it to your political beliefs. Can you rationalize voting for a candidate that supports the murder of the unborn through abortion? Could you rationize supporting a politician that considered redefining marriage as "no big deal?" How about a candidate that considers your God-given rights as being privileges offered by the government - that can be taken away by the government - like your free choice of health care? What about a president who proclaims this is not a Christian nation, and one who during his campaign poked fun at the Bible?

Hope and Change is an empty promise offered by someone that has no plan to offer anything but slavery through a socialistic form of governmental rule.

As a Christian, could you face Christ and tell Him you supported that kind of political tyranny?
