Pelosi's Double Standard Regarding Harsh Rhetoric

By Douglas V. Gibbs

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says anyone using harsh rhetoric to raise fears about health care reform should apologize and get on with writing policy.

She was referring to Grayson's comments that the Republican Health Care Plan was "don't get sick, and die quickly."

It is amazing how Pelosi, and gang, suddenly are trying to take the high road. They sure didn't care about harsh rhetoric when Bush was president.

Let me see. Just to name a few, Pelosi called Bush a Total Failure, Questioned Bush's Competence, and considered pursuing impeachment of Bush.

But now she's worried about harsh rhetoric?

Nancy "double-standard" Pelosi.
