Obama's Afghanistan Debacle Reveals Him To Be A Coward

It has been months since the military commanders told Obama that the military effort needs more troops, equipment, and supplies. Support personnel are in place, but the number of infantry personnel is low. Support personnel are essential, and I am in no way demeaning their roles, but it takes the infantry to do the fighting, of which Obama has delayed delivery of.

Obama has been sending support personnel to jack up the number, while having no intention to actually fight the war.

While Obama tests the political wind before making a decision of such magnitude regarding troop levels, two things are becoming clear. First, his popularity (or what's left of it) and socialist agenda are more important to him than the lives of our troops. Second, Obama is a coward.

Hesitation in the world of military combat equals death. A lack of adequate personnel, equipment, or supplies can also cost lives. Decisions in the field must be made without hesitation, and without doubt. Such an inability to be decisive is dangerous, and potentially devastating to the mission. Therefore, Barack Obama's delay in performing his duty as Commander in Chief is placing the many lives of our military men and women in Afghanistan in grave danger.

Retired Lt. Colonel TigerBo Dawson (USMC) once explained to me that one definition of a coward is one that makes no decision for fear it might be the wrong decision. Using that definition, Barack Obama is a coward, and has no business trying to perform the role of Commander in Chief.

Barack Obama needs to make a decision (but his cowardliness won't allow him to). He needs to either follow his commander's recommendation, or he needs to pull the troops out. Anything else places our military in grave danger.
