To extort Senator Nelson of Nebraska's vote for the health care legislation, the Democratic leadership is threatening to close Offutt Air Force Base.
These leftists make the mafia look like small timers. They pay off Landreau, they threaten Nelson (while also partially compromising our national security) with shutting down a base that employs some 10,000 military and federal employees in Southeastern Nebraska.
The Democrats have no shame, or ethics.
