Senator Christopher J. Dodd, according to the New York Times, will not seek re-election.

Senator Christopher J. Dodd realizes that he is facing an increasingly difficult bid for re-election as the popularity of Obama, and the Congressional Democrats, drops into the toilet.

Rather than lose, Dodd would rather run for the hills.
